It really is getting close to done.
First of all, Grace 12 was put through a major revision. As only one person that I know of has read it so far, that's not a bad thing. I'll provide the person with a little something something so that he knows what's what. Here's the new version of Grace 12 that is meant to be read, in case you downloaded the old.
Second, here's Grace 13 in all its glory. Not too shabby. I think the writing style I chose for Grace is really serving me well as I get to the last bit. I didn't really like the way my initial plan for these chapters was turning out when inspiration struck and bam, it suddenly works. I just had to go back and adjust chapter 12 a bit and then suddenly we're in business. Just goes to show that novels aren't meant to be written by the outline. I'll need to go back to the older chapters at some point and add foreshadowing, but for now I think it's looking pretty good.
I think I'm pretty much on track to get this done by around March or April, which is a rate that exceeds all expectations.
I said last time that I would make a compilation post and never did. I will this week. I'll put it on my to-do list.
Speaking of stories, some of you may know that I'm teaching some kids English these days. I do this via storytrains mainly. Storytrains are fun. Here's one they came up with:

Margin pics by me. Apologies for the poor quality of my scanner.
Anyhow, until next time.
